Gotta get all the regulars in MMMS64and my cyferin thinks its about 2 grand. Criminy all that money on regulars yuck. Anyone else got a set? How much am I gonna have to shovel on in the mines? Is there daylight when it comes to this (?hobby?)

Buck your looking at 10 G in penny's. Thank goodness I got most at 60% book. The wheat's were 2,300 and the rest about 7 G's. The whole hoard books at 14,000 give or take. No kidding I'm going for a set man, might take 20 more years but Lord willing my boys are gonna have a blast when...never mind that jazz wont talk about that because its coin time folks:).
Im side tracked on these dang SMS cameos cents, got one now I want the other 2. Sheez their high dollar man. Their not even in the registry I want into. Full steam ahead on the Oregon Clipper boys!

I don't collect penny's, so I can't really add anything.

Are you planning to do the PCGS registry? I don't currently have any slabbed coins, but I do check it out sometimes for fun and to learn. Also, I see that NGC no longer allows other TPG graded coins in their registry. I know that was a feature that many enjoyed and a feature that differentiated them. Beyond those I am not familiar with other registries, but if you know of them I'd like to learn. I'm curious, how has planning a registry set affected your collecting? And I also like that group pic! Edited for spelling.

I spent my Saturday night sleeping. But here it is, Sunday morning, and it's raining and forecast is for rain all day- a good day for coins (like everyday is). Don't have any new pennies but got a bunch of quarters off ebay last week. Didn't pay those prices on the flips but I'm still losing because silver's tanking, just like all commodities and stocks.

PCGS is my choice, all the flips in the redbox are MS 1959- present of non error Memorials. About 20% of them are mint packaging bust outs with the remaining ones picked up at coin shows, uncirculated unopened bank rolls, and about 25 of them found roll searching. This is where the money is going to add up getting the raw non error cents slabbed. Even with the heavy hitters without high grade non errors at MS-66 minimum my point spread will be unimpressive. I'm learning head on that putting a complete set together is not for the faint at heart, hope to launch in late 2018 but probably early 2019. I'm going to wait until I have the money for a bulk grading by PCGS. Anyways that's the plan its hard to stay focused on the set when I wander into the special mint set coins and proof varieties. Oh there' two I don't have that I should mention also and its the 1966 DDR F'S-801 and the 1988 doubled ear. No need fibbing about those two with pops of 2 and 2. Thanks for the comments, its not a richmans set some of the coins I moonlighted for as a roofers laborer most notably the 1992 D Close AM and the 1983 D doubled ear. The rest I just ate beans and rice for or buckled down for. Forschock and awe fire and fury affect I surf the PCGS LMC registry. Unbelievably gorgeous sets are displayed.
