I came across this in my pocket change today. Its doubled in the date, mintmark, and Liberty. Its the best doubling Ive personally seen so I thought Id share. Its not the best photo but it should give you the idea

Thanks for sharing this one. There is very nice doubling on the date. From a quick glance, it would appear that you have a Breen #2255 variety.
Not the rarest of coins, but certianly a nice find.

I agree with ND Breens 2255,, It is the most common doubling found on this date of cent, and occurs on both Business and proof srike coins.

Your coin exhibits common Machine Doubling - very common to 1968 through 1970 cents. It has no premium value.

One of the tell-tale signs that you have Machine Doubling is the fact that the mintmark is doubled with the date. If your coin were a die variety, this wouldn't be the case since the design is hubbed into the die completely before the mintmark is hand-punched into the die...with 1970 cents, anyway. This practice ended in 1989. All cents from 1990 on have the mintmark hubbed into the die with the rest of the design.
