Well I have held back from posting pics asking about possible DD's before, but this one I can't convince myself is just Machine Doubling. Any Thoughts? It's a 1976 Quarter with the D mint mark. Any thoughts?

This shows the thickness better than the previous angle, those separation lines are only noticeable with the light at a certain angle. Normally they just look like really thick letters.

Please post pics properly oriented for best input. It's hard to look at things upside down.

My apologies, I only took them at that angle to get the light to show what I was trying to convey. I have rotated them here at least somewhat upright. I now know better for future pics thanks for the advice.

After finding a good picture an auction result of the same coin in question, I'm almost confident that is indeed what I have here. Hopefully!

Hard to tell from your images. The sharpness, too much light on the areas you want to show us, just makes it look white. But here is a side by side of the 1976-D quarter on the motto.

Note the center of the 'R' in TRUST?
