Appears to be an attractive low AU piece with subdued luster and clear signs of wear. AU55 is as high as I'd go. Probably a 53 with 50 being the worst case. As a common date the value difference is minimal either way.

53 most likely. Relatively few contact marks. Nice luster hidden in tight devices. Quite attractive.

The reverse seems to cartwheel well.
The obverse seems to have cartwheel luster
mainly in the areas around the rim
near the date and the stars.

Don't get hung up about this piece being lightly cleaned. There's a good chance it has been cleaned/wiped at some point but it doesn't look harshly or improperly cleaned.

As a circulated common date, 95% of the value is in the gold content anyway.

With melt at $326 then 2% over is $332.50. At that price with no tax/s&h/fees it's worth buying for sure.
