@pirgah, I'm concerned about the apparent roughness and porostity on the fields of the second piece. Can you please show a couple views of the edge?
In terms of the cleaning of ancient coins, I would wager that there are virtually zero coins that have been around for 2000ish years that have never been cleaned.

Second coin is an obvious cast counterfeit ! First coin is a less obvious cast counterfeit !

In the first instance, the flan seems to be to be too perfectly round, and while the second coin is a bit less so in this regard, in neither case do you see the kind of edge irregularities and cracks that struck ancients so typically exhibit. That makes me immediately suspicious that these are reproductions.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with my coin brethren regarding coin #1. I lean toward that one being kosher. These issues of Hieronymos (Syracuse, Sicily) are often close to perfectly round. Both shape and fabric here are consistent with legit coins. Furthermore, I'm spotting a number of die matches. (Although I recognize it could be a cast taken from a good coin) Some comparisons of the OP coin with some spotted online, below. Note, among other details, the break in the rhythm of the dotted border on the obverse at 1:00:

I agree for the second coin . For the first , I have many doubts .Here a coin with the same MI above the thunderbolt . Comparing the two thunderbolts I miss the dots between the lines : such details are very difficult to reproduce by casting .albert

I agree the second coin is a fake. My impression on the on the first coin is genuine, but the reverse concerns me. The lettering especially on the bottom of the coin looks like what I would expect to see on a cast fake. If you can take a picture of the edge of the coin it would help to say one way or the other.
