I got this many years ago when I was a kid at a coin store that was going out of business. Every once in awhile I spend a few minutes looking up information about it. I've had trouble finding more information about it. Numista doesn't show any mintage #s for its year and I haven't been able to find any ebay auctions on it. I'm not interested in selling it..just looking there to see if it shows up.

How do you typically look for more info on your world coins?

Edit: I found a completed ebay listing showing the same coin. Finally! The counterstamp was hiding the letters T and A in Macuta. I had no idea.

The Krause books are the typical first stop... and that data is basically regurgitated in the "NGC World Coin Price Guide". As you've figured out, ebay completeds are highly useful (and always try different permutations to search)... Numista isn't a bad general reference site. And, of course, Google is your friend.
