Hello everyone, I watched a youtube video about Mercury dimes and the person mentioned to look out for a gold toned 1943 D Mercury dime. Well, I found one...has anyone heard of them before? Where they gold toned from the mint? Never heard of that before. *** Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. ***

I would kind of tend to some kind of environmental toning - maybe dropped on the ground for awhile! ?
