They're roughly similar:
1984: 84M, 85: 126M, 86: 156M, 87: 106M, 88: 75M.

What would be the value of a set of Can. nickels, about 97, with the '25, and '26 missing from the set?

Value depends on grade and if there are any higher demand varieties in the group. If they are from 1922 to the present, in VF30 pre 1953, and average circulated from 1953 to 1960, and BU for the rest - perhaps $30 or so. If there are any SP or PR coins, the value goes up. In other words "it depends".

30 bucks? I'd pay more.. assuming the 47 with a DOT is in there. Id pay upwards of 150 bucks. But of course.. like you said, it all depends on condition

The 47 with dot could add $40 to $50 to the price. Here's a lot of 50 5c coins from 1922 to 1967 that went for $15.50 (no 1925, no 1926 Near 6 and no 1947 Dot):

Here is another lot of 44 coins that went for $22.49:

Then we might as well mention the '51 high relief or the '53 mule coins
I think it would be a stroke of luck to find a 47 dot or the others.

Kurt, not to mention the 1954 NSF or the 1965 Large beads.

Add a few MS-65 in there (who knows?). So yes I'd probably spend say $25 for the thrill. This is, I wouldn't mind losing $25 for a bunch of duds. Or I would resell the lot. Hum that's a thought.
