MINT_MARQ Pillar of the Community United States 1000 Posts	Posted 06/04/2008 8:45 pm I am a US Coin Collector. I feel like I am trespassing here, but I had a couple questions. Please forgive this intrusion. I bought a collection and about 37 silver Canadian dimes (40s-60s), 4 silver quarters and a couple nickels were included. I am planning on selling them on the forum. I wanted to know if there are any key or semi key dates I should keep a look out for, to sell separate. Also, are there more than one mint, if so what should I look for to distinguish the difference. The 38, 39, and 54 aren't bad in higher grades too. For the 5c and 25c--what dates? I'll give you details for what you have. Report this Post to the Staff

KurtS Pillar of the Community United States 5318 Posts	Posted 06/04/2008 10:03 pm Oh well...how about the 1951? There's a double die variety for that one that's valued around $20 in EF. (Look at "10 cents"). The 1947 w/o the maple leaf is worth a little extra. As, for your questions,Kurt has pretty well answered them. On, your ten cents, the 1951 sometimes has a double die, the 1956 sometimes also has a "dot" they are worth a premium.
