One is 1677, the other is a 1738 shilling, Both From Germny I believe.

The one dated 1738 with "HAMBVRGER" around the castle is, as you have probably guessed, from the Free City of Hamburg, Germany. The correct spelling of the German denomination is "schilling", with a "C"; "shilling" is English. Mintage recorded, 797,000. KM# 160.

The older one is from the Archbishopric of Trier (MONETA NOVA TREVIR), also in Germany. You haven't shown us the reverse, but assuming the third pic shows the two coins to scale, then it's probably a 4 pfennig, with the coat of arms reverse; KM# 138.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

I'll get a reverse shot of the 2nd coin tonight, last nights reverse pics are a bit blurry. I was up way past my bedtime.
