Nice, but you have to get rid of that obverse verdigris, before it grows.

I don't know the series well enough to offer a reasonable estimate of grade, but VF seems high; I will, however, yield to more knowledgeable members of the board.

There appears to be some porosity, and the verdigris definitely detracts from the appearance and value. Assuming your white balance is correct, the coin has a very definite pinkish cast indicating a cleaning at some point in the past. This, again, has a negative effect on value. (If your coin in hand does not have the pink cast, then your white balance on your camera needs to be adjusted to provide true-to-color photos with your current light source.)

These are nice coins, and a couple of hundred years definitely takes a toll on them. I wouldn't mind having a coin such as this in my collection, with the exception of the verdigris.
Rest in Peace

Do you have an ID for the die pair? Closest I can come up with is an S-210, which was an R-7 in Sheldon's book.
I like this series, I have an 1802 S-235, an EDS. With your 1800, I think the strike is a little weak, which makes grading here tough. Perhaps around F-15.

The obv sure looks like S-210, The date placemnet seem right, I see the "comma" die chip by the B, and it has that bald spot in the hair, But where is the die crack through AMERICA on the reverse? It should be there, and clear, even on the eariest die states.

The obverse also resembles S-197. Pretty much the same date placement, same bald spot in the hair, but where is the long upper left serif on the M of AMERICA?
