1930 (600K),1925 (115K),1931 (60K)1916I (45K) 1917I (45K)1919 Double dot(45K)1920 dot below (45K0 1921 (45K)1923 (45K)1932 (35K) 1933 (35K).
As you did not specify grades etc, I used use proof condition pennys to be able to compare apples to apples. The above also do not take into account pattern pennys.

Dear Lim
Where would you rank one of my favourites the 1946 Penny.
I know it is in the top ten.

My favorite as well KLD, my birth year... Actually when you discount all those super coins in my previous post then the 1946 Penny would rank in the top ten with the 25P in the first spot.

Hi KLD, I don't believe any proof pennies were struck for 1946. That explains why it is not on the list. The mint did not strike proofs for every year in case you were interested. quote: Originally posted by KLD

I have seen on a recent Auction that a 1946 Uncirculated has gone for close to $4000. There must be a sharp move on these. Unless this buyer realy wanted it. This is one to look for as sharp rise on these

And to think our Perpetual Give A Way set has an Australian 1946 large penny in it!!! When the set finally reaches Australia we will have to send along an armed guard to protect the penny? I will have to see if I can get my name on the list for guard duty and that free trip to Australia! Just imagine me spending 3 weeks at your house while you have the set! Don't worry---I don't eat much!

Just over a year ago, I bought a UNC one for AUD1,600, the dealer had another one at Choice UNC for sale at AUD2,175. I did not buy that one.... It won't be long before the 1925 (which it already is)and the 1946 pennys in premium grades, become coins that will be beyond the reach of normal collectors.
