I am curious if this 1963 D cent is this victim of delamination? I believe it is but I am looking for help on this one!

PMD I think it took a couple of bad hits.

Try to get the crud out of the date area with a pure acetone soak and very light toothpick use to remove that gunk.

I'm not so sure that I agree that it is PMD.

I sure will Moxking. I can see on first appearance that it may be PMD but the "Flaking" around the date makes me feel it's not PMD. That's why I posted this because I know EVERYONE on this site are more experienced at these things than I am.

To me it looks like it was struck through a copper scrap of debris.
