Hi everyone, Apart from 1966, does anyone know of any upset dates for the 5 cents? Hans

1966 London is the only one I have heard of.

I have a 1996 5c upset to 20° as below, don't have any 1966 ones.

Ooh nice - there are also upset 1996 $1 coins so I guess it wasn't the only affected denomination.

Someone is selling one 5 cent) dated 2016, but it doesn't look very upset to me. Quite happy actually.:) So, some dates to look out for.

I have just checked my 1996 5 cent pieces (212 of them) and found 8 that were upset, all the same as the above pic. Thanks Nancy for alerting me to this. Very pleased! Hans

Yes, that's quite a high proportion. Perhaps they are quite common.

Judging by how many I have found in a short time (9 now), it shouldn't be too difficult Mr T. PM me if you cannot get one. Hans

Here is the 1996 "upset" I found whilst noodling last night Quite noticable when rotating the coin between your fingers. Squire

Nice find. I keep forgetting to look for the 1996.

Actually, Mr T, I was not looking for the 1996 upset coin at all. I was just innocently noodling through a whole lot of 5 cent pieces. And rotating each one during the inspection. That is how I found the coin in the previous post... Squire
