Help! What Could This Be? (Id: Likely Curtain Weight)

I apologise for the quality. It was found in a a trinket box of my grandmother's with some jewelery

I am certain it was a coin. It came from my grandmother's jewelry box. I have been able to pull up some images using a photo editing app inverting the images and blasting the contrast Anna also the lead run which was a brilliant suggestion. I posted here because I knew I would be surrounded by very smart people. I also ruined it with marker ink and used white electrical tape to pull an image that way. I can't make it out but it does seem like a man's face pointed left. There are letters, numbers, images.... I just can't decipher any of it
