I have this 1977 s penny where the s mint mark looks like a B. I can't find anything on it. I also have a 1978 that is exactly the same. Could anyone help with this?

One of the puncheons used to do the proofs in the late 70's was deformed. This makes what's known as the "filled S" and Clear S" varieties on the proof coins especially, 79/80's, where a new punch was interchangeably used to produce the working dies.
