This was a pleasant surprise last night. Class 6 doubling of date and lower right bust. Die polish mark above tie (minuscule). It is an interesting variety and pretty well leapt out from the other 89 D's. Thought I would share, thanks.

The image is grainy. I can't see what you are seeing. If you could set your camera to get a larger size of image, then when you reduce it would will get a better image.

Not seeing it either Cammy. Pix is awful but also from what little I can see, the upper right of 8 isn't misshapen enough nor is their an indent in the inside upper curves of the 9's at @12:30. Just the lower legs being wider may not be it, but those are the major points of recognition. Better pix, crop a full side pic before using optimizer.

Let me piddle around and try some different experimenting. Its the DO-001 but until I get better shots nobody's going to concur aaahhhh back to the laboratory. Coop / Crazybo what section in tutorials can I refer to so I can master this? I need to step up.

I can't help you there, I use my computer Photoshop and MSPaint to do all my pix modifications, sizing, cropping clarifying. I just know folks complain about the loss of resolution when using the optimizer. If you have a large pic file in a 48-96ppi and crop it as is to be compatible with upload maximums then there is no loss of resolution. I never have tried the optimizer, sounds confusing to me! I'm OLD!

The best way to tell if it is a DDO is to look at the bottom circle of the '8'.

That's a bit better. Think it is the 001. That is a very slight notch at 1 o'clock and 3 o'clock on the inside of the upper part of 8, that shows up on all die states. Can see it well on TBs pix and just barely on yours. Ends of 9's are there too.

A remarkable five buck purchase! No questions after those pics. Enjoy checking your mail on Thursday, sometimes it's not all junk mail...

Loos better, but still grainy. Is there any chance to set you camera to a larger image size. With a larger pixel width, you can reduce the size of your image with software and have a clearer image. If not, then it was just a suggestion. But looks like a DDO. (The '8' tells me that) Matching markers will help to ID a match for die states. The mint mark will help with location of the correct die number.
