I collected my first Roman coin, a denarius of Antoninus Pius, with the modius and corn ears reverse, way back in 1963. I paid U.S $3.00 for it. I will be attending the wedding of my niece in Roma, in early September, at the Vecchio Borgo Via Campi d' Annibale 93, Grottoferrata, Roma. She has a pHd in ancient Roman sociology. Her interest in ancient Rome had it's genesis in viewing my Roman coin collection, as a child. I will be in Italy touring around, for about a month. Report this Post to the Staff
