echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 02/27/2018 9:34 pm Adding to my slowly growing collection of Bactrian coins is this AR drachm of Antimachus II Nikephoros (the Victorious) Antimachos ruled from 174-165 BC Obverse legend in Greek: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΝΙΚΗΦΟΡΟΥ ΑΝΤΙΜΑΧΟΥ Reverse legend in Kharoshti, Maharadajasa Jayadharasa Amtimakasa Control mark indicates it was struck at the Taxila workshop. 17mm x 2.29g x 12h Whitehead 557. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antimachus_II Report this Post to the Staff
