I do believe that Grease Fill was involved when that coin was struck. I also believe that a weak strike may have been involved considering that area commonly shows weakness and is opposite the lower bust of Lincoln which requires a significant amount of the planchet's metal to fill.

To CCF! This is a Grease Filled Die, but it's in a very common area. It was only a small amount of grease. Value is face value (1 cent) because it happens a lot and it's too common. But don't stop searching. Keep searching and eventually another one will show up.
