1946-Penny--Could-It-Be-An-Error?

Any info on this specific penny? And is the color a error? The picture may not seem it but this penny looks completely silver like a nickel except around edges.
Input or comments helpful please
Thank you!

If it looks "silver" it has been plated most likely with a nickel/tin alloy or even chromium if really shiny. It may be slightly magnetic depending on how much nickel is in the coating.

You can tell by the "mushy" details.
