I am with you, been starting to collect a few of the cheaper currency. Currency is like a piece of art. I wish I had large budget

Welcome, Bluedogcards, to the world of notes. There are lots of ways to collect. Besides the regular currency issues, there's obsolete regional notes and colonial script. And, there's the small-size fractionals produced under Federal law but not by the BEP.

Your MPCs are very nice and official looking. They remind me of the fractionals. Are they a BEP product, what years were they made? I know nothing about them so feel free to talk about them.

MPC's are a robust segment of note collecting. Nice start.

Get a copy of Fred Schwans MPC catalog. The Fifth edition is due in May so you may want to wait to pick one up.

Or you can come to the MPCFest in Port Clinton OH in May and get one there.

This will provide an overview of MPC's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milit..._certificate

I knew of two different websites that focused on these information wise both have ceased to work and instead load to buy this domain pages.

You may be able to find more information and articles by searching on the Newman Numismatic Portal https://nnp.wustl.edu/Library/Advan...e=Periodical
