Lol! Wrong again, darn it! It is Die Deterioration on a long overused die:

Other effects on outer devices are coin counter/wrapper machines damaging or wearing off devices, and a Grease Filled Die due to polishing. None of these are really "errors", faults of machining process yes, but to have any intrinsic value, they shouldn't have, but uniformed buyers jump at the hype.
