1969-D LMC Cud And Spike

Okay, so to finish out the 1969-D items of note; the Upper Left Cornice has a persistent "spike" and what looks like a Cud that has been "shaved"/polished.

The pictures are to close. Take pictures of the entire coin first, then zoom in on the area of interest. With that said, the first picture looks more like a clash. If the last pictures are a Cud, it's very insignificant.

This could be a Cud but I would more categorize this as an indent, due to late state polishing and maintenance of the dies. There was a blemish on the edge of the die face ares by the rim offset that was polished down.

Different than a Cud, Cuds form from cracked Die face areas.
