Early George V Nickel - Weak Strike Or Wear?

It's got lots of luster, a great halo and nearly perfect fields, but some of the high points are a little flat... that could be wear or I heard that weak strikes were common with the early Nickels. I would have said AU53-55 myself based on the pictures. Just a mention on your description the fields look very far from nearly perfect. Report this Post to the Staff

Re: fields - I agree there are small marks, but I meant free of anything major or distracting. Or at least I thought so, but I'm still learning...
