Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74806 Posts	Posted 03/07/2018 10:42 pm I found this in a circulated bankroll from a bankbox of U.S. Pennies. This is a fairly nice example with the separation lines still showing. It unfortunately got dinged up on the rim a little, but it's still a nice find. Errers and Varietys. I couldn't tell, but on the close up of the date, it looks like the tie is DD as well. I'm not familiar with all the varieties yet. If it wasn't for the rim dings, would it grade as MS or AU? The doubling is easy to see and you'll know when you find one, since the doubling is visible to the naked eye. The bow tie doubling might be glare from my pictures. If you want to become more familiar with the die varieties, try this website here. http://doubleddie.com/ I'm not an expert at grading, but I think it would have gotten the AU grade if it wasn't for the rim dings. It's very easy to get good pictures now. I'm glad that I bought it. I would definitely recommend this USB microscope for starters and for people who need to upgrade their camera equipment.
