most likely it's a Cud, but it looks like "D". I thought that was fuuny.

I see an impression that looks like a letter D, but that is not a mint mark. And where is this Cud you speak about?

Yes @naz, I'm not really seeing this area of the rim directly below the L as a Cud either. Have you looked on cuds-on-coins yet?
