I have a few coins that I have saved until I could get better pictures (and still arent the best), but why does it look like a mint mark has been punched over a blob? I'm assuming it just Machine Doubling but id like to just verify that before I toss these suckers back into the wild. thanks

My opinions:
1. MD on the date, not sure about the P
2. MD
3. took a hit while in circulation
4. part of the pins to create the S had broken off, so the recesses aren't as deep as they should be
5. mint mark took a hit in circulation or damage from the finger of a coin rolling machine
last picture, MD created the "extra D", and circulation hits damaged the D
