I ran across this 1983 D and am puzzled as to whether or not this is a linear bubble? It cannot be pushed down with a toothpick or a fingernail. I have seen linear bubbles on many cents but not to this extreme. It goes under and through many devises and the fields. Help please with this interesting cent!

That's exactly where my mindset is too John1. I just haven't run across one where it runs through so much. I'm sure the plating was a whole lot thicker on the earlier 80's LMC's than the later dates. I have one 1983 cent that weighs 2.79 g's.
