I found this from a circulated roll from a bank box of U.S. Pennies. This LSC shows severe Die Deterioration and also shows Die Deterioration Doubling on the date, mintmark, and LIB of Liberty. Also, be aware of ebay sellers selling this as Doubled Die. A made up nickname for this "error" is 3D Shield Cent.

Funny how people who have a lot of crap, some up with a name an sell them off to the newbies, who think they found something of interest. They are just worth what it says on the back of them. (they find that out later after they paid too much for them)

Exactly Coop. It's unfair that ebay sellers sell these to newbies for a high price. Then once the buyer finds out later that it's only worth face value, then they're stuck with the coin they bought. What some ebay sellers will do is when they are selling crap like this, they'll make so you can't return the item to get a refund. That's why you have to be very careful on ebay when buying error coins.

Edit: To CCF NickG! Thank you for taking a look at my thread! You probably already learned something and that's good. The purpose of this thread was to learn the difference on the different types of doubling.
