So, I got this $1 Registered Bill as change at a restaurant the other day, and I've never seen one like it. I've searched all over web, but can't find a picture of one like it. I went to the website that's printed on it (www.wheresgeorge.com) and I entered the serial number to contribute to the tracking, but I have never heard of a registered bill having a donald duck on it! Really cool bill, IMHO...anyone have any idea if it's worth anything? It's in circulated condition, with more creases than I would like, but still looks cool!

I checked the bill on wheres george, it must have been stamped from someone from there, the persons username is "Donald",that might explain donald duck, (i think he stamped it on) and I noticed it said "currency teacking report", which could represent the bill being tracked on wheresgeorge, and it is kinda advertising you to enter the serial # on their site... Hope this helps!, cool note tho

Yeah, I registered the bill on "where's george" to add to the tracking report...and I kinda feel I should let it get back into circulation so the report can continue, but at the same time I really wanna keep it...lol.

Interesting, although I'd be wary of adding green ink to a bill. But what's a $1 worth nowadays? Just don't accept any of those Mickey Mouse bills.

If you wish to keep it as a curiosity, that's fine. I doubt it carries any premium as a collectible.

G'day, there was a thread about "Where's George" last year. As I recall, the Forum split into two groups: complete waste of time; and an outrageous insult to the sovereignty of the USA. As I see it, post-mint or post-printing additions to coins or notes, as a general rule, add nothing to value. If I had it, I think I'd hang onto it. But I understand the sentiment that leans the other way. Peter

Even if numismatists aren't interested in it. I'm sure there are some Disney lovers out there who would love to have it. I'd keep it.
