Looking to possibly list this on ebay (Auction Style) Anyone want to help me grade it and give a possible value? Or maybe I should be sending it to ICCS? Thanks for all your help Edited by rmc 03/11/2018 09:50 am

Except for 2 scratches on the reverse, the field there looks very good. The obv dings and scratches will take it down to 60. It's still UNC, but the facial probs take it away. I'd sell it raw ..don't spend the money having it cert'd. Even a blind person can tell it's A to denticle.

I'd agree your pictures will sell this coin on its own. I feel like you will actually get more without the grading. Great colour.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your input. Little worried but I listed it with starting bid of .99 Hope I don't regret it. I know sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Either way, someone is going to get a great coin

I would grade that one as MS-62 Red. Good luck with your auction.

Send it in The Piece will come back @ MS62 Red from ICCS . I think the coin probably looks better in hand . DO NOT auction it on ebay starting it at 99 Cents , you will get massacred. The Canadian Coin Market is rather weak these days and the Canadian Bottom feeders are out in force. List it as a BIN best offer and be patient and realistic. PS It took awhile but we recently sold an MS65 ICCS On ebay and got a very nice price .

I am not saying I condone the practice, but it would hardly harm you if you ended that listing and listed it as a Buy It Now.

In fairness to those who are watching and bidding on it, I'm leaving it up for auction.

On the ebay debate, but I think it's a pretty free expression of supply and demand. Some stuff sells below trends, some stuff sells high-ish. Some stuff is listed as BIN and sellers get higher prices but need to wait for the right buyer to come along. Side note: how did you take such a beautiful photo? Or is that a scan? I find that what I have around is not very good for coin photos.

For the grade, I would think MS-62 RD.
