This would be my first DDO, however, I'm still learning on the markers as well. I checked Wexlers, and it might be under the "WDDO-001" for comparison. Not quite sure. My pictures are not great. I tried with natural and artificial light. I found this CRH yesterday and noticed it with the naked eye. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Super nice find! Really, you found that one for your first DDO? Congrats, and it is VarietyVista DDO-001 or DDO-003. Compare the doubling on LIBERTY in-hand to sort out which one.

Very well done! Cherrypicker's Guide variety too. Images are good enough.

Thank you everyone for responding! If I didn't set aside the 83's to look at, (the reverse, mind you) I would have tossed this one back! Another accident find! I will check the Die Crack coop and the Variety Vista website. Just got home from work. So excited!

Coop... no left crack from the DDO-003 Variety. However, the die scratch under the "E" in United does match under this variety, including the faint rectangular scratches in the same area. Which I find interesting, as almost all.. fall under the DDO-001 Variety. I do agree with tropical and jay. I did find something new this evening. Between the "C" and "E" on Cent, there seems to be a tilted, faint letter. I shall try and get a close up of this. Would like anyone's thoughts on the mysterious. I've searched all Variety's with no luck. Should I send it off to NGC? Thanks again!

I doubt you would benefit with this coin. The cost for grading would probably be more than the coin is worth. I figure a coin should be worth more than $100. The variety you know. The grade would not warrant paying to know. If a coin was a MS-65 and you thought the coin was a higher grade, then it would be worth the effort. But you coin is not worth an advanced premium. When I by a slabbed coin, I figure $0 for the grading. I buy the coin not the plastic.

Coop, thank you for helping me understand when to send a coin off or not. I almost spent the money, as I get excited when I find error coins! Thank you everyone for your grading expertise, as well!
