OK so you mentioned those so called cities. What you should attempt to do is visit a real city, Chicago. If you did you would find a steady 3 coin shows a month, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sudays of every month. Then we also have coin stores and flea markets with coin dealers all over the place. This is a real city for coins. The ones you mentioned are just remote suburbs of Chicago you know.

First experiences: (all shops found via google) - NY 3 addresses: 1st in Manhattan retired 2nd in Manhattan closed early before close time 3rd in Brooklyn, they did seem to be disappointed to have a guy interested in coins and books - Niagara Falls, only one in 3rd street, this was good, patient and comprensive - Cleveland 2 addresses: . 1st only interested in buying coins . 2nd closed in the normal dayly hours, it was monday at 16:00, and on the door was reported "open 10:00 thru 17:00" but the shop were closed.
OK, tomorrow I'll try w/ the official sales office of Washington DC mint ...

thanks a lot, unfortunatly I didn't read your topics by time, anyway finally at Atlantic City I found a good shop in a mall, prices a bit higher (as in a shop) but I had the opportunity to buy several USA coins missing in my collection, and thanks to te current exchange rate between euro and dollar it was not so expensive (but this is relative).
