Yes, has been dipped. Believe this occurred many years ago. This collection was passed on through an estate in the mid 90's.

I left the pictures size large to show the beauty and the beast of this coin.

Pictures aren't good enough to judge surface quality, but I would say it looks like a beastly au-58.

Pictures make it impossible for me to tell anything about the coin other than that it looks AU.

Just from the shine reflected in these pics it looks overdipped. I believe PCGS will take its Trueview pics of a coin they're grading out of the holder, so one can get to see it in its natural state. (Unfortunately, they don't use natural lighting for this.)
