It's an Obv 2 ... the notch at the end of the ribbon is further to the left side. An Obv 1 has the notch to the right side.

Chinese counterfeit.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

no question about it, for sure a counterfeit can tell by the broken leaf stem, Hopefully you didn't pay much for it.

Wow! I never even looked to see if it might be counterfeit .. I just looked at the Obv. One thing that you have to remember about faked coins. The "fake" coin was actually computerized copied from a REAL coin, so you can't go by stems or other markers without looking further. You might be looking at one of the real coins of the same die pair. The luster looks funky.

The overly thick 'I' of GRATIA and REGINA is another marker... This one looks like H.K. Replica Coins version, but struck in silver.

I paid $40
Odd that it has such an old looking patina/tone
seems very authentic
interesting enough to keep
Bought it off a little old lady who found an old boot of her Father's with coins in it
Truly thought it was the real deal ... and it doesn't match the tone of the one posted by DBM. It also has a lot of wear spots- where the detail has been eroded/rubbed away.
