I would say at least an F-12.
If the 'Liberty' was clearer - I would go for the VF-20
Rest in Peace

F-15, and I agree with the above poster. Perhaps cleaned, too.

Liberty is complete, ribbon not quite fully defined. so close to VF, but I will also go with F15.

Everyone seems to agree on F. This is good. Thank you.

I am wondering what some of you are seeing that makes you think it may have been cleaned. In person, it doesn't look odd at all and I have seen some cleaned coins and usually they look odd...almost fake. I wonder if it is something in the lighting I am using. I mean the coin looks alot different in the picture than in person. The whole bronzy-tone thing is lighting. In my hand the coin is pretty much silver.

If the specimen looks silver, maybe your color balance on the cameria needs adjusting.
I am always futzing with lighting and color. At least once a week I change something and take comparison pics (as you may have noticed - I have no life!)
I found lots of great info on the camera/photo form.

The obverse looks OK to me and I agree with a grade of F-12 to F-15. The reverse actually has somewhat stronger detail and I think it makes VF-20. However, the reverse has me thinking "cleaned" because of the heavy dark color around the left side of the coin. This color is mostly absent from the center and the right side which makes me suspicious that some scrubbing has partially removed that dark color from those areas. I don't see any hairline scratches, so if the reverse was cleaned at least the cleaner didn't scratch it up in the process.

Just my opinion, of course!
