Greysheet (CDN) Collector Price Guide
Available free on-line and a $30/year quarterly subscription
CDN is trying to move the greysheet back to actual dealer-to-dealer sight seen transactions with the CPG being the retail price guide for collectors. Concept being if you pay a little more than grey sheet and less than CPG you are doing well.
Time will tell...

Thanks for the input. Saw that coming on the Whitman books. I wanted to use the Red Book as a selling tool, but may change my mind as I become more familiar with other retail guides. I've mainly been a roll hunter but have grown weary of finding new coins I don't have or upgrades to what I do have so that's what has led me to this point. One thing I am curious about is the free cpg on greysheet.com. I'm seeing that you have to pay for it. Is that correct? If it is indeed free can someone provide me with a link?

CDN uses the same CPG acronym for a couple of different things. The CDN Coin Price Guide (CPG) is free online. The CPG Coin & Currency Market Review is a quarterly subscription that isn't free.

Try the Whitman Publishing web site for a pile of books on coins. However, remember that almost any book or magazine you buy is pretty much out dated as soon as made. Coin prices vary to much today due to places like ebay. A coin may sell for $10 on ebay and in one of the references you have it is $20. So which is right? Makes no difference since the actual selling price is the real price.
