Found this coin online and got curious regarding the counterstamp. Looks like a shield of armor with a horse rider in it...The stamps on the other side suggest that the shield stamp was there before the asian symbol stamps got there, suggesting the shield stamp is at least as old as the other stamps.

Has onyone sen a stamp like this, and what/who made them?

I recognize the impression as the Agnus Dei the symbol of Jesus Christ. The lamb looks backward over his shoulder and holds a banner in his foreleg. It is an old symbol of the Church. As such it is unlikely to have a monetary implication. Perhaps they were awards. Who knows.

I see the lamb stamp as being applied last, not before the Chinese chops.
