Found this cherry picking and the obverse kinda looks like it's silver plated. Has the rainbow aura I'd expect to find on tarnished silver. The reverse has the typical nickel plate. Shiny as ever. Was there ever an error quarter from this year that had two different platings? I've never heard of nickel having an aura tarnish.

Could be natural or unnatural toning. But doesn't see enough to bring an interest in this coin. Could have been cleaned with something, heated or just natural toning. Can't prove either way. Just worth what it says on the back of the coin.
