coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/10/2008 4:23 pm I just spotted something you might be looking at. On the West side of the mint mark looks like a West. I say looks like as if you follow the vertical die scratches, it is part of one of the die scratches. Die scratches fade in time after striking more and more coins. These disappear in the fields, but around the devices they tend to remain longer. I've found some that looked like a RPM in the center of the mint mark. But checking again it was just a die scratch posing as a RPM. Report this Post to the Staff
