I moved your post to the appropriate section for the proper attention.

You should include the date, mintmark, and the denomination in your titles.

Why Topic Titles are Important

The title of your topic is very important. Let's say you need help attributing an 1896 Morgan Dollar....

  • Horrendous: Help!

  • Bad: Need help with coin

  • Better: Need help with Morgan Dollar

  • Good: Need help with 1896 Morgan Dollar

  • Awesome: Need help with VAM on 1896 Morgan Dollar

This enables the members with expertise pertaining to your question to easily find and answer your question. The title of the topic also becomes the title of the topic's web page, which enables us to attract more collectors to the site. The more members we have, the more we learn.

Check ebay sold values to get an idea on value.

Yes, it does look like a Cud. Value is minimal as almost everyone who searches boxes and rolls find plenty of them.

That is a Cud! Nice find! I sold my only coin with a Cud Error on ebay, a 1984P for close to $200. My Cud was a little larger and in a different place.

Great find! That's a pretty good sized Cud. The value I'm not sure on. Check ebay.

It's definitely a Cud. Not sure on value, but check ebay sold prices.

Looks like someone dipped it into acid? A couple of nasty scratches on the bust.

So a couple of negatives. But I do feel it is legit. I would like to see the reverse though to see if the opposite area of the Cud is showing weakness?
