Hey everyone
I bought this boxe this morning from garage sale and will like to know if anyone know anything about silver dollars proof like
1921 Morgan dollar.
1922 Peace dollar...

Sadly, this coin looks shiny, because it has been cleaned with metal polish. You can see evidence of this where it has been polished between the lettering, but not very close to each individual letter, where the original luster remains. This can best bee seen in the darkly light areas of the lettering.

PL coins have polished fields only. This one looks like all of the coin has been polished.

Bit of a pity, because the coin is in otherwise reasonably nice condition.

Just got back home from local coin dealer he started his offer $500 after long talk and all bs was telling me I had to go back home with my coins and Not accept his last $12000 offer ...
I'm sure most of you here knows about
1921*ZERBE proof Morgan dollar and
1922 MATTE proof Peace dollar...
But...! You only see it on pictures tha looks completely different from original look in your hand. you never had one in your hand and maybe you never will .
I update you guys as soon as I get coins back from PCGS.

Your 1922 is not the high relief matte one,look at the spikes and that's one way to tell

Two very common dollars that have been polished.

I have seen sets like this before and it is very common
for them to have polished coins.
