This looks, to me, more like an out of collar strike than a Dryer Coin. I'm by no means an expert but this coin doesn't seem to have they typical Dryer Coin appearance.

Note the 5th and 6th image. You can see where the reeds used to be. Now they are missing. The coin was altered/damaged after the strike. The edges of the devices are pushing towards the rim direction. Faces of the coin is showing damage as well. Dryer Coin.

I was puzzled by your third image until I finally realized it was the top dime on a stack of dimes.

How about pics of just the coin in question,obverse-reverse and edge.No stacking please. John1

Look for ths ejection marks on edge.Should be two small indentations on edge then you will know if it a mint error
