Hello all,

Hoping someone can help me identify an error on my 1957 D Wheat penny. It appears that the left wheat stalk is extended or it may just be a bubble. Hopefully the pics are clear enough. All input will be greatly appreciated.

To CCF! That blob of raised metal is a Die Chip. A little piece of metal from the die chips out, causing a raised blob in that area. When the dies start getting old and overused, this is what happens. They start to fall apart slowly strike after strike.
