1964 Half Dollar, Legend Doubt - Coin Community Forum

sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21788 Posts	Posted 03/27/2018 06:17 am Don't worry about the damage. The U.S. Mint made 433 million 1964 Kennedys. Because they were the last year of 90% silver coinage, AND the first year of issue for the type, huge numbers of them were immediately taken out of circulation as keepsakes at the time of they were issued, and have survived in uncirculated condition.
