MrPink2018 Pillar of the Community United States 2477 Posts	Posted 03/26/2018 11:21 pm nickel I found in a parking lot two nights ago. it's nothing special, a little scuffed & nicked, definitely a spender, but also shows what I think is DDD... outside abraded die doubling? the 'doubling' shows up really well around the date and all lettering, shows a little less around jefferson and monticello, but it's there, the enlarged, irregular outlines around the devices, indicating extensive wear in the fields, can also see die polishing lines in places.
