There are raised situations above the word - United - they seem to coincide with the letters and look as to be twisted clockwise, feeder fingers err ?

I believe that is called a worn die.

It is part of die flow that starts on the side of devices facing the rim. SO what John1 told is correct. It is a form of die wear called Die Deterioration:
