I found this nickel in a roll, and it immediately caught my eye. It's a noticably different finish from any of my other 64 nickels. Its like a very flat field and polished details, very noticeable on the reverse pic. Any thoughts on if this might be a SP?

This occurs quite frequently on Five Cents Of 1964 through 1966 . Seems both polished and unpolished Dies were in use . Thus you get both the highly chromium polished look on most and a rather satiny unpolished look on some,
Also on the polished die coins , there exist some incredible Heavy to Ultra Heavy Cameo Pieces .

Interesting thanks for the info! It's a first time coming across it and it's just so noticeable. Pics are hard to justify it. Here is it beside some other of the nicest roll finds. Do any valuable combinations exist then?

Heh Irelandos. I think I just found a 1964 nickel with the same finish last week. I'll have to check it out.
Thanks Pacificoin for the info.
