Hello everybody. I'm new here and also new to coin collecting and coin-related... things.
I also have a question and being overwhelmed with how huge and diverse this forum is I'm not sure where to post it so I post it here. In my defense, it's a "new member" question:
When/how does the "new member" status expire?
As soon as I signed up, I wanted to email a member for his chemist experience, for his knowledge of a certain coin cleaning/restoring product, and also because being new to the forum I did not know if I could ask those in forum or if those had already been asked/replied before.
Of course, that led to a warning that new members cannot use the email and that subsequent attempts to email as new member will kill my account. Like I said, I am new and have lots of questions regarding cleaning, restoring, attribution a.s.o. So I'd really hate it for my account to get terminated.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome and thanks jbuck for the info.
At first I got scared because I couldn't find my reply in the previous thread and my profile page said I had 0 (zero) posts (I guess that happened from the post being moved). I thought I did something wrong and had my post erased...
Well thanks again and right now I guess I should start combing the forum for the things I'm most interested in (and hopefully be able to stay away from other "eye-candy" topics):)
Edit: Also thanks to rggoodie for the welcome email - not getting an automated reply these days is a real treat.
